Job Summary:
The Nurse Educator- Acute Care plays a crucial role in enhancing professional practice and quality patient care by providing evidence-based educational programs. This role requires collaboration with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to develop, coordinate, and manage onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Acute Care Nursing Educator, your key responsibilities include:
- Participating in the development, coordination, managing, facilitating, conducting, and evaluating of onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel.
- Providing orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention.
- Collaborating with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust the program based on evaluation results.
- Participating in the development, coordination, and management of facilitating, conducting, and evaluating competency.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred. Additionally, you should have 3+ years' experience in an acute care setting and 2+ years' experience in clinical education. Currently licensed as an RN in the state of practice or having an active compact state license is required. Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification is also necessary.

Estimated Salary Range:
The estimated salary range for this position is $77,652 - $115,148 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range of candidates hired, considering factors such as specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
