Job Summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Therapist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive treatment services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the ACT team
  • Provide therapy services, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide interventions as needed
  • Assist with creating and updating treatment plans, insurance authorizations, and other documentation
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
  • Must be licensed as per the State of Georgia, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with SPMI and dual diagnosis
  • Community experience and crisis intervention skills
  • Bilingual abilities a plus
