Job Summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a travel assignment in Ohio.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given.
  • Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of acute care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to handle a multi-task environment, and basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.
