Lead Teacher

The Pillars Christian Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

• Design and implement lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children.
• Establish clear expectations and routines to ensure a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with our faith-based values.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share progress and involve them in their child's learning journey.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet HHS minimum education and experience requirements.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.

This is a full-time position working in a childcare environment. The Lead Teacher will interact with children in early learning classrooms daily.

The physical demands of this job include frequent sitting, occasional climbing or balancing, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Starting salary is $15.00 per hour.
