Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Safety Internship Coordinator. This role will provide administrative support to the Safety Department, assisting with tasks of moderate to advanced difficulty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with entering drug and alcohol testing results and scanning employment documentation
  • Prepare employee Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol files
  • Database management for classroom training sessions and safety training courses
  • Coordinate and present safety training to support company and client requirements
  • Maintain current safety information in Excel and pull safety records and stats as needed
  • Order, track, and ship supplies as required
  • Understand and ensure compliance with environmental permitting regulations
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program studying Safety Management, Occupational Safety, or Construction Management
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.9 or higher
  • Functional computer skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Familiarity with MSHA and OSHA regulations or a general safety background
