Hydrogeologist III

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Hydrogeologist III to support its Remediation practice for complex sites. This hybrid role is available anywhere in the United States near an AECOM office, with management located in Glen Allen, VA.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified scientist who utilizes scientific principles, theories, and existing technologies to develop technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. The role requires general familiarity within a broad field of scientific knowledge of reciprocal effects on other disciplines/fields.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conducts analysis and investigation work obtained from various sources
* Performs inspections and tests to ensure compliance
* Participates in developing corrective measures and procedures
* Formulates hypotheses, performs research, and makes recommendations
* Performs data analysis, modeling, visualizations, and interpretations to support complex remediation projects
* Manages workflows in technical computing, geodatabase, and relational database environments
* Evaluates remedy performance and supports design and implementation of adaptive remedy approaches
* Supports PFAS data analytics practice area
* Integrates data analysis, visualizations, findings, and interpretations into technical deliverables and reports
