Civil Staff Engineer I

We are seeking a talented Civil Staff Engineer I to join our team of professionals in Harrisburg, PA. As a Civil Staff Engineer I, key responsibilities include:
- Designing portions of public infrastructure projects (pavement, storm sewer systems, ESC & SWM BMPs, etc.)
- Performing municipal subdivision, land development, and stormwater management plan reviews
- Preparing drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sedimentation control and other reports required for project permits and approvals
- Developing regulatory permitting applications (DEP, USACE, NPDES, etc.)
- Assisting with developing public bidding documents and administering construction contracts
- Performing construction observation
- Preparing opinions of probable construction cost
- Assisting with preparation of MS4 annual reports
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- E.I.T. certification preferred
- Course work and/or 0 to 2 years' experience to include:
- Subdivision
- Land Development
- Municipal Engineering
- Storm Water Management
- Regulatory Permitting
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience/knowledge is a plus
- Previous internship with a consulting engineering firm preferred
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, etc.)
- Team player possessing strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Requires travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices (Valid US Drivers License is required)
- Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
