Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging devices, administering radioactive materials, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate PET-CT, D-SPECT, and other imaging devices to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients and ensure safe handling and disposal.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and advancements in nuclear medicine.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ODH Radiologic License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of handling, administering radioactive materials and knowledge of nuclear instrumentation and its use.

Work Environment:

This position is located in a fully-equipped Nuclear Medicine department, where you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
