About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Pharmacy Director to lead our pharmacy team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure the pharmacy meets or exceeds regulatory requirements and industry standards for quality and safety.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, as well as external partners and vendors.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and provide opportunities for professional growth and development for team members.
Requirements:
- Education: Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) required; Master's degree in Hospital Pharmacy (Administration), MBA, or MHA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hospital pharmacy practice experience and 3 years of management experience.
- Licensure: Pharmacist licensure in the State of Nebraska required.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer hardware and software applications.
