SPO Manager

Turner Construction is seeking a highly skilled SPO Manager to lead our Self-Perform Operations unit and staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and promoting operational excellence, supporting projects and clients, and ensuring strict adherence to safety, ethics, and compliance requirements.

• Lead and manage the SPO unit and staff, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Develop and implement a business plan that aligns with the overall business unit strategy, ensuring the SPO unit is a key contributor to Turner's success.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and other stakeholders to establish evaluation processes and achieve stated goals.
• Ensure the SPO unit is integrated with the overall business unit, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive operational excellence.
• Develop and maintain procedures to protect financial and physical assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Participate in community and professional organizations, representing Turner Construction and promoting our values.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited and credentialed degree program and 10 years of Building Construction experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• Thorough understanding of the Commercial Construction industry and participating markets.
• In-depth knowledge of Self-Perform Operations unit specific scopes of work and trades.
• Leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of driving results and building high-performing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

The SPO Manager will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to project sites and occasional work in an office setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
