Job Opportunity: Audiovisual Technician at Encore
Description:
Position Overview:
A skilled Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of basic / small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This position reports to an Operations Manager, Operations Director, or Director, Event Technology at Encore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Ensures flawlessly executed events through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
- Customer Service: Strives to exceed customer expectations and needs, maintains positive client relationships, and monitors events throughout the day.
- Technical Ability: Understands and troubleshoots equipment and software issues in a timely manner.
- Systems Knowledge: Follows procedures accurately, increases revenue through up-selling techniques, and finalizes invoices with clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- 1 year of audiovisual experience or equivalent educational background preferred.
- Valid driver's license required for team members operating Encore vehicles.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Work Environment:
- Hotel: Work performed in a hotel/convention center with varying conditions. Team members may face irregular hours, irregular shifts, and exposure to heights.
- Warehouse: Work at event venues and warehouses, with exposure to outdoor temperatures and high-end equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Team members must meet physical criteria for job functions, including vision, lifting, and carrying capabilities. Time allocation per day varies for different physical tasks.
