Automotive Technician for Pre-Owned Vehicles

Compensation: $20 - $30 per flat rate hour, based on experience.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional Saturdays.

- Execute repairs and maintenance as outlined in the repair order with precision and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional services needed and provide accurate time estimates for further repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician in a dealership setting is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is advantageous.
- Proficient in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools.
- Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
- Positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening (excluding THC).
