We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist Specialist to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Horizontal equipment to machine aluminum parts into sub-units or complete units.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering plans to ensure accurate operation and dimensional requirements.
- Apply advanced skills to develop concepts and techniques, completing complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
- Work independently to resolve complex problems and make recommendations for new procedures.
- Take measurements of material and select appropriate machines for the process.
- Conduct inspections of work produced and maintain quality/safety standards.
- Typically requires a High School diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in the absence of a diploma or GED.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) as defined by RTX.
- Preferred qualifications include 1 or more years of experience leading a team.
