Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- At least one year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
- American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
- This role requires full vaccination for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
