School Psychologist

The School Psychologist will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of learning and behavior disorders in students. This includes conducting individual and group counseling, chairing IEP teams, and developing and implementing effective educational plans and interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with Individualized Education Plan meetings and student assessment and intervention as needed.
- Oversee all testing and assessment activities relative to the unique needs of individual students.
- Collaborate with regular and special education team members to share knowledge and skills, carry out assigned tasks, and provide leadership in problem situations.
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Service Credential in School Psychology.
- Preferred 3 years of experience as a licensed Specialist in School Psychology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of school psychology theory, child development, substance abuse education, tests and measurements, and crisis management.
Appropriate placement on the AADUSD School Psychologist salary scale.
