Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a critical role at Residence Woodbury, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Prepare and balance daily financial reports, including revenue and expense statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct regular security walks to ensure the hotel's safety and security protocols are being followed.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with hotel staff, management, and guests to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the night, using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a strong background in financial management and analytical skills.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
