Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified Special Education Teacher to join our team at ProCare Therapy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with disabilities and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Create engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each student
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and techniques to promote student learning and success
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and families to provide a comprehensive and integrated education program
- Monitor and track student progress, and provide ongoing feedback and support to students and their families
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Certification in North Carolina
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Special Education, or equivalent
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities, including severe behavioral challenges
