Recreation Therapist

We are seeking a Recreation Therapist to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. This part-time position requires a weekend commitment with day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The Recreation Therapist will work closely with patients, physicians, and managers to provide outcome-based treatment, leisure education, and recreation participation interventions. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you must have a CTRS or equivalent certification with at least one year of experience in a rehab/hospital setting. For long-term care positions, a CTRS or eligible certification with one year of experience is required.

This position offers an estimated annual salary of $43,900 - $65,200, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming the mid-point of the hourly salary range.
