Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality medical care to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our veterinary team.
- Conduct surgeries and other medical procedures as needed.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary medicine techniques and best practices.
- Doctor of Veterinary degree (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Active veterinary state license.
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire for some hospitals.
- USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire for some hospitals.
- Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods of time.
- Ability to be confident around animals.
- Client needs, and work volume may occasionally require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
