- Accurately process incoming orders, modifications, or cancellations utilizing an ERP order entry system.
- Handle a significant volume of customer communications via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Verify order documentation for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Communicate with customers regarding order updates, including pricing changes and shipping information.
- Work collaboratively with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure timely invoicing and collection processes.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to facilitate order shipments.
- Maintain customer records by updating account details as necessary.
- Provide support to colleagues during peak times or in their absence.
- Be prepared to work additional hours when required, with prior management approval.
- Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning new systems quickly.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and effective time management.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles is advantageous.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, order entry, or sales support preferred.
Physical Requirements:
