Job Title: Critical Care Nurse - ICU RN
\rAbout the Opportunity:
\r- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Health Creighton University Medical Center in Nebraska/Iowa.
Responsibilities:
\r- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill adults and pediatrics aged >15 years old in the ICU setting.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
\r- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- 2 years of experience as an ICU RN, with a strong focus on critical care nursing principles and practices.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.

Shift Information:

\r- 34-bed ICU unit with a 1:1-2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Nurse-to-patient ratios may vary depending on unit needs.
- Ventilator management and titration of drips, including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics.
