Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Garage Door Repair Technician to join our team at ProLift Garage Doors of East Colorado Springs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing garage door installations, service, and repairs for the greater Colorado Springs area.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain various types of garage doors and openers
  • Troubleshoot and repair garage door equipment
  • Perform periodic maintenance on new and existing garage door equipment
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements
  • Previous experience (minimum of 1 year) servicing/installing garage doors
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in cramped garages
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
  • Basic math and legible handwriting
Physical Demands

The Garage Door Repair Technician will frequently stand, lift, carry, walk, push, stoop, climb, bend, crouch, crawl, and reach above and below shoulder level. The position also requires working in cramped garages, on ladders, and with power tools, as well as performing manual labor in outside environments exposed to heat, sun, high humidity, rain, and other adverse weather conditions.

Experience
