About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our Aircraft Certification team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our certification efforts, working closely with the US Federal Aviation Administration and other civil aviation authorities. Your expertise will be crucial in tackling complex certification challenges and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage certification program objectives, including management of the plan for regulatory approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and currency with the latest design in regulated documents.
  • Conduct change impact and safety assessments for proposed configuration changes or envelope expansions.
  • Ensure compliance with cross-cutting regulatory requirements and drive policy initiatives aligned with aviation regulatory objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience working in Type Certification, Type Certification Amendment, Supplemental Type Certification, TSO, or Waiver/Exemption programs with the FAA or other civil aviation authority.
  • Strong engineering background and experience in communicating with OEM technical decisions to certification authorities.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and contribute to a major impact.
  • Resilience and resourcefulness to succeed in novel, uncertain, and constantly-changing business and regulatory environments.
