We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Support Dietitian to join our team at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, TX. As a Clinical Nutrition Support Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition support and education to patients in a critical care setting.
Job Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments, diagnoses, and interventions to patients who require nutrition support.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans, monitoring patient progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care, including interdisciplinary rounds and meetings.
- Educate patients and their families on nutrition-related topics, promoting healthy eating habits and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
- Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) credential required.
- Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- 2 or more years of clinical nutrition experience, including experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
