Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric mental health care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and laboratory results.
- Prescribe and manage medications, as well as order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and disease management.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Prescriptive authority privileges in the State of Indiana.
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in behavioral health, with a preference for 5 years or more.
- CPR certification.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care.
- Strong decision-making and practice skills.
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
