Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of diesel equipment including tractors and trailers. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience, a valid CDL license, and excellent analytical skills.

The Senior Fleet Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet. This involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and documenting repairs accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with diesel equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to company standards
  • Document all repair orders and parts used
  • Handle road service calls and perform rescue/transport duties as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class-A CDL license
  • 7+ years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $22-$38 per hour, depending on experience. Additional benefits may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 120-150 pounds, and stand for long periods. You must also be able to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
