Job Summary

We are seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales team in achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and performing other tasks as assigned.
  • Support the sales team by assisting with sales floor coverage, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive store environment.
  • Assist with receiving and processing merchandise, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Working Environment

Our store is a public retail environment with a climate-controlled atmosphere. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and some outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. The Frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses.
