Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC lathes and mills to perform precision machining operations, adhering to blueprints and sketches.
  • Maintain and check dimensions using precision measuring instruments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to meet quality and efficiency goals in a 6S manufacturing environment.
  • Perform tasks such as deburring, polishing, and stamping, using a variety of tools and methods.
  • Operate manual machines, including drill presses, punch presses, and hand tools.
  • Use precision gages to check parts, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Report any issues or difficulties to the supervisor, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in deburring machining.
  • Able to read drawings and blueprints.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and checking gauges.
  • Data input skills and computer literacy.
  • General knowledge of PLC controllers and manual secondary equipment.
  • Able to operate lathes and/or mills, with knowledge of turning, facing, and boring to hold tolerances.
  • Lifting up to 50lbs and maintaining a high level of physical fitness.
  • EHS awareness and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Flexibility in shift times and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's or Technical Degree (two years) is preferred.
Other
  • US Citizen.
