BMC Helix ITSM Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled BMC Helix ITSM Engineer to join our team at Eliassen Group. As a key member of our IT service management team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting incidents and problems with the Remedy System, reviewing logs and system performance, and reporting anomalies using the incident management process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot complex workflow issues using BMC Remedy logs and Developer Studio
- Work with BMC to resolve complex workflow issues
- Perform patching and deployments of the BMC ITSM Suite
- Ensure accurate and appropriate use of the system and data via configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and report development
- Support the implementation of system enhancements to improve system reliability and performance
- Fulfill standard requests such as report development, foundation data updates, and system monitoring
- Develop BMC AR System and BMC ITSM using Developer Studio
- Work with Smart Reporting or Helix Dashboards to build reports and dashboards using data from the ITSM system and other data sources
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot the BMC ITSM Suite
- Coordinate large complex Remedy migration, upgrade, and development projects
Requirements:
- 1-3+ years of direct BMC Helix ITSM engineering and administration experience
- Experience with containerized infrastructures deploying BMC software
- Security+ CE certification
- BMC Helix ITSM Associate Certification or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- BMC Professional Certification in DWP-A, Helix CMDB, or Innovation Studio
- Experience with Redhat OS navigation
- BMC DWP and DWP Catalog (Linux) installation and troubleshooting
- BMC Remedy Single Sign On (RSSO) installation and troubleshooting
- Helix Dashboards installation and report creation
