Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Ambassador. In this role, you will be the face of SeaWorld, interacting with guests, answering questions, and ensuring they have an amazing time at the park.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greets and engages with guests, providing information about park shows and attractions.
  • Communicates safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Creatively directs crowd flow and prevents unauthorized access into parade routes.
  • Assists with directing foot traffic before, during, and after parades.
  • Effectively communicates with large groups of spectators to deliver pertinent information during parades.
  • Ensures excellent customer service by responding to guest requirements, expectations, and needs.
  • Represents the park in a positive and professional manner, displaying a high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
  • Maintains cleanliness of assigned areas.
  • Assists with park emergencies, including inclement weather.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be at least 16 years old.
  • A strong team player mentality.
  • A commitment to exceptional guest service.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.
  • The ability to pass all necessary training.
  • The ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • The ability to climb on ladders, stadium steps, and uneven surfaces.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 300 lbs. on a cart with assistance.
  • The ability to train on and properly use protective gear.
  • Comfortable working around water and animals.
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Scheduling flexibility.
  • A valid state driver's license is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are highly desirable.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, approximately $12-$15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
