We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Driller to join our team at Helicon Foundation Repair Systems. As a key member of our foundation repair team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling equipment, leading crew members, and ensuring the successful completion of foundation repair projects.
Key Responsibilities- Drilling Operations: Operate drilling equipment for various foundation repair techniques, including drilled shafts, augercast, helicals, tiebacks, micropiles, and drilled-in casing.
- Team Leadership: Lead and train crew members in drilling operations and safety procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain drilling equipment daily to ensure proper and safe functioning.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with engineers and general contractors on project requirements and progress.
- Project Management: Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation, understand project schedules, and assume additional responsibilities as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Quality Control and Safety: Maintain quality control and site safety, and research and determine methods and procedures on new or unique assignments in compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in direct drilling and installation techniques, including drilled shafts, augercast, helicals, tiebacks, micropiles, and drilled-in casing.
- Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Skills: Proven ability to train and lead crew members, proficiency in daily equipment maintenance, excellent communication skills, ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints, and knowledge of drilling processes, codes, and standards.
- Competitive Compensation: 22-28 Hourly Wage.
