Position Overview: The Lead Procurement Specialist for ePowertrain Components will oversee purchasing activities in North America, managing an annual business value of approximately $0.5 billion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Buyer for significant ePowertrain Component suppliers.
- Facilitate and oversee the resolution of ongoing issues, executing the business plan, and serving as the escalation point to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Lead the ePowertrain Components initiative, coordinating global sourcing efforts, benchmarking, and the execution of commodity strategies.
- Manage and implement commercial pricing agreements and detailed cost breakdowns applicable across all programs and suppliers.
- Address and support complex supply chain and capacity challenges.
- Engage in regular professional communication with senior leadership.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in cost management and manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on operational efficiency.
