Our U.S. practice collaborates closely with the global ACT practice, which consists of a substantial number of attorneys operating across multiple regions.
Position Overview
The Antitrust Knowledge and Practice Resource Attorney will play a crucial role in advancing key initiatives within the practice group, focusing on knowledge management, business development, and attorney training. This position aims to equip the group's attorneys with essential skills and resources, harness the collective expertise of the group in our deliverables, and support efforts to secure new business through contributions to both internal and external publications. This inaugural position will involve the design, implementation, and maintenance of practice resources tailored for the group. Additionally, the attorney will provide ongoing support to colleagues regarding resource utilization, the creation of new materials, and the training of legal professionals within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with partners, counsel, and business service professionals to define the scope of work and develop a comprehensive work plan for this new role.
- Assist the ACT group in the areas of (1) knowledge management, (2) business development and market insights, and (3) training development and delivery.
Essential Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Antitrust law within a large law firm or governmental agency with an active Antitrust practice.
- In-depth understanding of antitrust laws and principles.
- Experience in Knowledge Management within a large law firm is preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Aspirations to take a leadership role in shaping and promoting this new position.
- Effective communication skills with various stakeholders, including attorneys and staff.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving business requirements.
