Position Overview

Are you a student or a retiree seeking a fulfilling part-time or full-time role with adaptable hours? At Help at Home Senior Care Nevada, we are looking for compassionate caregivers to enhance the lives of seniors in our community.

As a caregiver/personal assistant, your role will involve providing companionship, assisting with errands, and engaging in enjoyable activities. Some seniors may require additional support due to mobility or memory challenges, and your guidance will be essential in ensuring they take their medications on time, maintain safety during personal care, and enjoy a comfortable living environment.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive caregiver wages starting at $18.00-$19.50 per hour, with opportunities for ongoing pay increases.
  • Potential to increase your pay by $1.50 within the first six months of employment.
  • Comprehensive paid training to equip you with the skills needed for effective caregiving, including specialized training for dementia care and hospice support.

  • We cover your application-related costs, including TB testing, pre-employment physicals, and background checks.

Qualifications:

  • Must be compassionate, reliable, trustworthy, and professional.
  • Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening.
  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors.
  • Weekend availability is advantageous.

Work Location: In the homes of clients.
