About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our clinical team at LifeStance Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral healthcare services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive substance use disorder and mental health evaluations and treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as case management and education on substance use and mental health.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and evidence-based treatments.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work.

  • Experience working with substance use disorders and mental health issues, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
