Job Responsibilities

  • Install and ensure correct water flow on all molds.
  • Set up conveyors and shielding to prevent part loss per engineering standards.
  • Complete start-ups after mold changes using Mold Set Up Sheets.
  • Perform color changes efficiently to minimize downtime, scrap, and customer complaints.
  • Pull runners and perform minor mechanical tasks.
  • Capture and input accurate data into Global Shop Floor System.
  • Provide ongoing mold care, including daily cleaning and autonomous maintenance.
  • Use approved tools and solvents for specific tasks.
  • Understand and troubleshoot minor mold problems and contact the Help Chain.
  • Salvage parts and raw materials to reduce waste.
  • Effectively complete 5's in their assigned area of responsibility.
  • Interact professionally with other employees to problem-solve in the moment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and requirements.
  • Understand and assist with emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in Injection or Compression molding technology.
  • Ability to work with moderate mechanical ability and general knowledge of the CSI product process flow, materials requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Ability to keep scrap at a minimum and ensure safety and quality standards are followed.
  • Ability to access and navigate required training topics in Safety, Quality, Communication, Monday Reports, IFE/IFO reporting, and Job Ob reporting.
