Key Responsibilities:- Assist with treatments ordered by providers, under the supervision of a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, or licensed practical nurse.
- Perform select clinical duties, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patients' charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Perform basic clerical duties, including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
- Assist with materials management functions, including ordering and stocking of supplies.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Wisconsin ONLY - High School diploma or equivalent and graduate of accredited school of medical assisting.
- No experience required.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.
