Job Summary

Radiology Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for assisting attending radiologists in the management of patients at Union hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of fluoroscopy procedures, PICC lines, paracentesis/thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, and FNA bx.
  • Perform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose, and treat illnesses and/or injuries.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes.
  • Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patients to identify potential areas of concern in the medical management of the patients.
  • Educate patients on their medical care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Radiology Physician Assistant in the state of Indiana.
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited program.
  • Certification Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants (CBRPA) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification REQUIRED.
  • Critical Care experience a plus.
  • Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants or ANCC.
  • Certified to perform Basic Life Support and ACLS.
