Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for our Sub-Acute Rehabilitation Unit. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to our residents within a skilled nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer guidance and support to residents and their families.
- Monitor residents' health and administer necessary medications and treatments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care in departmental records.
- Ensure the safety of residents and staff by following infection control protocols.
- Address resident concerns and needs through collaborative team efforts.
- Uphold quality of care by adhering to facility standards and philosophies.
- Protect resident confidentiality by maintaining privacy of information.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in long-term care is required.
- Full-time availability with knowledge of sub-acute care and Sigmacare is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Current RN license in New York State is mandatory.
- Preferred experience in long-term care settings.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office.
- Strong communication abilities are essential.
- A friendly demeanor and teamwork orientation are highly valued.
Compensation: $84,000 - $95,000
