Phlebotomist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the Fulton Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center in Fulton, Missouri. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques
  • Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing patients
  • Provide basic care and support to patients, including finger sticking for blood sugars
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Phlebotomist with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience
  • Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification/license preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check
