Optometric Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team at America's Best. As an Optometric Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining a professional atmosphere in our doctor's office and pre-test room.

• Patient Care: Ensure high-quality patient care by performing preliminary examinations, reviewing prescriptions, and identifying special needs.
• Office Maintenance: Maintain a professional atmosphere and appearance of the doctor's office and pre-test room, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained.
• Communication: Explain ocular terminology and diseases to patients, and provide clear and concise instructions on visual field testing and retinal screenings.
• Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork, perform testing on patients, and review patient information carefully.

• Language Skills: Fluency in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
• Experience: Previous retail/optical experience preferred, but not required.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to give instruction in a clear and concise manner to customers.
• Interpersonal Skills: Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
