Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages who suffer from pulmonary disorders, assessing, treating, and caring for them.
Responsibilities:
- Gather data to assess a patient's current health status
- Assess patients according to their physical or age-related needs
- Observe, record, and report symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients
- Administer and record prescribed medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures
- Responsible for airway management, including performing endotracheal intubations and extubations, pulmonary hygiene, and tracheostomy care and emergency life support procedures
- Provides health education to patients and the general population through community services
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current NY State RT License
Pay Range: $44.00 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
