Job Summary

This is a part-time position with the City of Antigo Police Department. The successful candidate will provide a safe and secure environment for children to cross public roadways and intersections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stop vehicle traffic by holding a stop sign visible to approaching vehicles in school zones.
  • Walk children across the street in designated crosswalks.
  • Work in a team environment to ensure the safe movement of children to and from school.
Requirements
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods in inclement weather.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and ability to distinguish colors, red, yellow, and green.
  • Ability to interact with the general public with a positive and friendly demeanor.
Work Environment

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with the public. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe movement of children to and from school.
