Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team at GPAC. As a Corporate Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to our company on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Preparation and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate agreements and contracts to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Corporate Governance Advice: Provide expert guidance on corporate governance matters, including board of directors' responsibilities and shareholder rights.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex corporate and commercial issues to inform business decisions.
  • Transaction Support: Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to ensure effective governance and compliance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the company.
  • Representation and Communication: Represent the company in legal proceedings, as needed, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide timely and effective legal support.
Requirements
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar: Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
