Job Summary

The AMN Healthcare team is seeking an experienced Interim Nurse Manager to lead the Critical Care Float Pool and Cardiac Step Down unit. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of day-to-day operations in the 18-bed Cardiac Step-Down unit and approximately 60+ total FTEs.
  • Leadership of 80+ total FTEs, focusing on ongoing departmental initiatives including quality, patient engagement, staff engagement, and survey readiness.
  • Evaluation of the department's structure and provision of input on staff performance and departmental growth.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active MA RN license and/or willingness to obtain pre-hire is required.
  • Critical Care experience is required.
  • EPIC EHR experience is strongly preferred.
