Job SummaryEvaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting, providing personalized care to improve or restore function.
About the RoleThis position requires a skilled Physical Therapist to work with patients, conducting evaluations and creating individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in using Windows-based programs for department functions.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on established departmental standards
- Conduct and modify evaluations to establish individualized goals for each patient
- Treat patients with therapeutic exercises and modalities to relieve pain and attain established goals
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent function
- Determine when a patient has achieved maximal benefit from treatment and recommend discharge if appropriate
- Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
- Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
