Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our software development lifecycle, improving developer productivity, and enhancing delivery speed and code quality.

Job Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer at ASCEND MINDS, you will work closely with our development, architecture, operations, and security teams to identify and improve process pain points and inefficiencies for delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement efficient DevOps processes and tools.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure, including Windows and Linux server administration, Java, Python, and object-oriented development.
  • Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Ansible, Bash, and Terraform.
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Concourse and Atlassian products.
  • Designing and implementing event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ZeroMQ.
  • Providing expert-level support for SQL queries, observability, and Git.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, including public cloud platforms like AWS.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent applied experience.
  • At least 8 years of relevant DevOps experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of security and performance.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and CSS preprocessors like LESS.
What We Offer
