About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Tool Operations Manager to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing an in-house machine shop and maintaining complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify fixtures for specialized machining operations
  • Manage and maintain complex equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Disassemble and diagnose equipment to determine flaws and repair engines and other accessories through machining processes
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and quality

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in a related field (e.g., manufacturing, engineering, or a related field)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in machine tool operations, tool and die making, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of industrial blueprint reading, CNC operations, and programming
  • Experience with Solidworks for tool design, computer-assisted programming, and mold making and die making
  • Proficiency in Precision Machining, SOLIDWORKS Software, Haas Controllers, G&M Code Programming, Master Cam Software, and Post Processor
