Key Responsibilities- Conduct ultrasound exams on patients, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques to produce high-quality images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in diagnostic imaging.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in the field.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience for all patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and results.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Graduation from a fully accredited Sonography program.
- One American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registry in either Abdomen or OB/GYN.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
This is a full-time position, working a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to ultrasound equipment and patient data.
