Position Overview

Our offerings include paid apprenticeships across various fields such as arts, communications, leadership, sports, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Our innovative youth development model has gained national recognition and has been successfully implemented in multiple cities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and logistics of programs within designated community areas.
  • Conduct site evaluations and provide constructive feedback on program quality and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for instructors and school personnel, fostering strong relationships.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for program staff.
  • Assist in the recruitment and retention of participants, ensuring program success.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Manage data entry and maintain accurate records within the database system.
  • Support program providers in troubleshooting operational challenges.
  • Attend program-related events and assist in community outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Driver's License and insured transportation are required.
  • Cook County residency is preferred.

Physical and Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Work may involve sitting for extended periods.
  • Moderate noise levels are typical in the work environment.
